Cookies policy

Last updated:

This policy explains how leadwisemarketing.com uses cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser’s local and session storage, and how you stay in control of them. Please read it together with our privacy policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Local storage and session storage keep information in your browser in a similar way. Some of these are strictly necessary for a website to work. Others measure how a website and its advertising perform, and those need your consent.

Your choices

When analytics or advertising tools are switched on for this website, a banner asks for your choice before anything non-essential is stored. “Accept all”, “Analytics only” and “Reject all” carry equal weight, and rejecting is as easy as accepting. Until you choose, and after you reject, no Google or Meta tag is loaded at all.

You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” button in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of advertising cookies and do not offer the “Accept all” option.

Where Google tools are used, we also send Google Consent Mode signals, which tell Google’s tags what you have agreed to.

What we use

Name and providerWhat it doesType and legal basisHow long it lasts
lw_consent (LeadWise, local storage)Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask on every page.Strictly necessary; no consent needed12 months, then we ask again
lw_attr (LeadWise, session storage)Remembers how you arrived, for example campaign parameters, so an enquiry you send can be linked to the marketing that brought you.Analytics; only with your consentUntil you close your browser
_ga and _ga_[ID] (Google Analytics)Counts visits and shows how the website is used.Analytics; only if enabled and only with your consentUp to 2 years
_gcl_au and other _gcl_ cookies (Google Ads)Shows whether our Google ads lead to enquiries.Advertising; only if enabled and only with your consentUp to 90 days
_fbp and _fbc (Meta Pixel)Shows whether our Facebook and Instagram ads lead to enquiries.Advertising; only if enabled and only with your consentUp to 90 days

Google Tag Manager, if used, loads the tags above only after your consent. It does not set tracking cookies of its own. Durations follow each provider’s own documentation and may change; we update this table when they do.

WhatsApp and other links

Our WhatsApp buttons are plain links. They do not load anything from Meta on our website. When you tap one, WhatsApp (run by Meta) opens, and Meta’s own terms and privacy policy apply from that point.

Third-party providers

If you consent, Google and Meta process the data their tools collect under their own privacy policies, and they may transfer it outside your country. You can read more and manage your advertising preferences in your Google account and in your Facebook or Instagram settings.

Changes

If we add or change the tools we use, we will update this policy first and, where needed, ask for your consent again.
